Confidence isn’t something you either have or don’t have. It’s something you develop over time, with clarity, encouragement, insight, and practical steps that help you grow. That’s exactly what our Confidence Coaching service offers — a compassionate, personalised space to explore your strengths, challenge self-doubt, and step forward after OOKP surgery with courage and confidence.
Whether you’re preparing for work, returning to everyday life, expanding your social world, or exploring personal goals, our confidence coaching service, supports you, enabling you to grow in ways that matter.
We've designed our confidence coaching, to be a supportive partnership between you and one of our qualified peers, to help you:
uncover and challenge self-limiting thoughts
build inner strength and trust in your capabilities
set and work towards goals that feel meaningful
practice new approaches in real situations
celebrate progress, step by step
over a number of sessions, a coach works with you, using proven confidence-building strategies such as goal setting, reframing limiting beliefs, behavioural confidence exercises, and positive reinforcement — all tailored to your unique experience and goals. By workin with your assigned coach, you'll develop the skills to achieve the confidence you aspire to.
You can meet one-to-one through WhatsApp video or Meet (Google Meet) — whichever feels most comfortable and accessible for you. Each session lasts around 1 hour and involves tasks for you to perform, to obtain the confidence you require.

One member felt unsure about going out in public after surgery and avoided social situations. Through coaching, they learned to identify small goals — like planning a short walk with a friend — and celebrated each step forward. Over time, these small wins helped rebuild a sense of self-worth and courage and now they have a full and interactive social life.
Another member was anxious about returning to work after time away. Confidence coaching helped break down the big goal into manageable milestones — updating skills, practising conversations with managers, and visualising success — giving them greater control and belief in their abilities. Although their work life is now a little different, they feel confident in their ability to achieve the same goals they had before OOKP surgery.
A member who struggled with expressing themselves in group settings, learned through coaching, to reframe negative inner narratives and practise speaking in supportive, small-group simulations. This helped them feel calmer and more authentic when participating in meetings and social conversations. Now, they interact with others and often lead conversations when we meet.
One person felt held back by their “inner critic,” doubting every decision they made. Working with our coach, they learned to recognise unhelpful self-talk and replace it with realistic, affirming thoughts — leading to a noticeable shift in confidence in daily interactions and decision-making. They now help other members become confident with their situation.

By breaking larger aspirations into small, achievable steps and celebrating each success, they found themselves feeling more confident in tackling larger challenges than they ever thought possible.
