I'm sure your aware, we all need a little help on our OOKP journey. Whether it's information to help family, friends and carers understand our needs; counselling from peers who have the experience we're searching for, or someone we can meet or call, to answer questions causing us anxiety, they're all important in helping us develop resiliance to our condition.

We recognise this, which is why we try offering a number of services you can access, free of charge, which support you in making decisions and creating the best life possible for you and those around you.

In this section, we've tried listing services in the sequence they occur in your journey. So, those first services are those most people require to access pre-surgery. Then, we've included services we know assist during surgery and where those around you, can gain knowledge and support to provide the most useful assistance. Finally, we include services most needed for post surgery development and progress, allowing you to live a full and productive life.

Obviously,  you'll have questions and require services which are not specifically covered, but we suggest looking through those services which are closest to your needs. You may find the answers, or a service which helps.

However, if this is not the case, we can always be contacted via email, where peer support will be provided, to assist the best way we can. Our members have a wealth of knowledge and experience and are always willing to assist new members with any problems they face.

So, please take a look  and feel free to use as many services as you need. We welcome everyone and there are few situations which have not been experienced by our members.

Finally, if you wish to join our team, to help new members, please contact us. We're always looking for volunteers. We find, many members love helping other members, as it gives them a sense of purpose and enjoyment in their lives
